Beverly girls volleyball team finally breaks through

Prep’s highly successful volleyball team canned by MVC

St. John’s Prep has one of the elite volleyball programs in the state and a very competitive coach in Andrew Viselli.

Prep volleyball dynasty marches on

The dynastic St. John’s Prep volleyball team just keeps winning. Nine straight state tournament wins are in the books and the Eagles look to make it two straight and three-out-of-four state titles in the state final Thursday night against Lincoln-Sudbury.

Saturday postponements mean Sunday games

The postponements are coming in fast and furious as the remnants of Hurricane Noel that are expected to slam the Eastern coast of Massachusetts are already forcing several regularly scheduled football and state tournament soccer and college postseason games to be moved to Sunday instead.
