The St. John’s Prep lacrosse team added to an already impressive season by placing three players on the lacrosse All-American team.

There is one thing the Beverly boys lacrosse team from 2003 has in common with the St. John’s Prep lacrosse team of 2009. Both beat very good Duxbury teams.

All streaks come to an end and unfortunately for new Beverly lacrosse coach John Pynchon, he inherited a program with a league win streak that was approaching triple digits.

Beverly High School announced today that former St. John’s Prep standout and Ipswich native John Pynchon will succeed Peter Ginolfi as the Panthers lacrosse coach.
