Marblehead’s first winning season in ages last year was a credit to junior signal caller Hayes Richardson, who was 5-2 as a starting quarterback.

Taylor Callahan of Marblehead, a freshman at Fairfield University in Connecticut, has been named to the Division 1 National Field Hockey Coaches (NFHCA) All-Academic Team.
Callahan, one of eight Fairfield players named ot the NFHCA squad, had one assist in a dozen games for the Stags last fall.

Cory Schneider of Marblehead has been named the Reebok/American Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending March 29. He went 2-1 in three games with a 1.66 goals-against average and allowed just five goals on 110 shots.
