A trio of Northeastern Conference Small alums earned All-Nescac honors on the gridiron this fall.
Beverly grad Pat Bailey was named to the all-league second team as a running back for Tufts and also earned a spot as a return specialist.

Projected heavy rainfall has also caused the Beverly at Swampscott Northeastern Conference Small football game to be moved from Saturday to Sunday.
The game will be held at Blocksidge Field in Swampscott Sunday at 1 p.m. (note: that’s an hour later than Saturday’s game would have been).

The Beverly High football team received some great news recently when it was learned that senior quarterback Mark Hannable will be back sooner rather than later.
Hannable, who projected as the team’s starter after passing for 1,250 yards last season, has yet to play this season because of mono.
