Early reviews are good for the new transportation reform bill, which may really encompass the best of the House, Senate and governor’s proposal.

Action is expected in both chambers today. Ehrlich is particularly excited by the provision that would restore toll equity, meaning that the money motorists from the North Shore fork over to drive into Boston via bridge or tunnel will be used strictly for the maintenance of those facilities. That’s what the tolls are supposed to be for, after all.
