Is Beverly Republican City Committee member Brett Schetzsle running for state representative? It looks like it, according to an entry last week on the North Shore Young Republicans blog.
The blog item refers to “NSYR’s very own Brett Schetzsle, candidate for Beverly State Representative.” I just asked Schetzsle if he is, in fact, going to run against Mary Grant, who is up for reelection in 2010.
“All I can say is I am actively exploring running,” he said.
Schetzsle has been very active in the city’s Republican committee since moving to Beverly last year.
