A life sciences company called BioHelix Corp. is moving into the Cummings Center.
Former New England Biolabs scientist Huimin Kong, shown here,  founded BioHelix in 2004.
The company develops “cost-effective, instrument-free nucleic acid tests,” according to a press release. It is now concentrating on diagnostic tests for  infectious diseases such as staph infections, HIV and STDs.
