The effort to restore the carriage house at Lynch Park has a new web site. Organizers have set Sept. 13 as the date for a free event called “I Did, I Do, I Will,” in which couples can renew their marriage vows.

City Clerk Fran Macdonald sends along word that Wednesday is the last day to register to vote for the Sept. 16 state primary, if you’re not already registered. City Hall is open today and tomorrow until 4:30 p.m. and will be open Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
One of the construction companies in the running to become the general contractor for the high school project has lost its state certification. City Solicitor Roy Gelineau said this afternoon that the decertification eliminates TLT Construction of Wakefield.
